Ed,

I've been trying hard to improve on my TA skills.
I'm getting much better than I have been in the past, however there are always those times where the chart will do what ever it wants to, anyway.

I'm wondering how much do you weigh TA into making your purchases into the market?

I've also just begun reading about Elliott Wave Technical Analysis.
It seems to be based upon psychological patterns that we as humans follow.
Using these subjectively draw lines, usually one can estimate who and when the market will make changes in direction.

Have you ever followed any of this?

Anyhow, just recently they ware calling for another leg downward.
Election Day was supposed to be the pivot.
Perhaps it missed by a day or so.

I'm looking to learn more about it.
