First of all, I've made no "jab" against people who are dyslexic. I'm just trying to understand why George W has such trouble with simple words (subliminable comes to mind), difficulty putting simple sentences together, and why he claims to have not read a book in college.

As for his success in "rising to the top of his party", do you honestly think that he would have risen to the top of anything if his father weren't George Bush? As Ann Richards said, "He was born on third base and thinks he hit a triple".

And yes, people with dyslexia can do quite well. But many seem much more intelligent than doubya does.
