Last night MSNBC news interviewed on camera a FLA retiree who claims she was confused by the ballot and punched two holes in the Presidential portion. She took the ballot back, said she made a mistake, and was given a new ballot.

When she went outside the polling place, she said she heard dozens of other seniors complaining about the same thing (having voted twice on one ballot for President) who were two "intimidated" to admit their error, so they just turned in their ballots flawed.

Personally, if someone wants his/her vote to count, I think he/she should take responsibility for it at the time. If we allow this type of anecdotal "evidence" to cause any action to be taken with respect to this specific vote (i.e. people admitting that they voted improperly and did NOT do anything about it at the time), the entire process is meaningless.

Just my thoughts,
