The current problem is a counting problem or at worst a constitutional crisis if they let it happen. Does not come close to Real historical events like Abolition,WWII etc. Sometime in the last 48 hrs it seemed to me that while bangladesh and other Russia and others have real problems the US is just chasing its own tail having imaginary problems to entertain itself. Monica and Impeachment, the show of shows, and now this.
The real problems on the other hand have historic inevitability, eg the India's freedom movement started probably in 1857, 90 years before Gandhi presided over the actual independence! .
Nader might have pointed out some harsh truths about the US which might snowball into a big one down the road.
