Since it has not happened in a 100 years, would it be terrible to suggest that they should form a mixed government, Bush as president as Al as VP.

How about Nader for President, Buchanan for VP, Bush for Secretary of Defense, and Gore for Secretary of State? The other cabinet members are appointed in a draft (Dem, GOP, Green, Dem, GOP, Reform, Dem...)

Yes, my tongue is firmly implanted in my cheek! With this line-up, I'd never again have to watch Comedy Central!
