I think the thing with the election being called before the polls closed is this.

There is no LAW that states that polling services MUST wait till the polls close. They have historically agreed to wait until the polls closed.

Not trying to justify the actions, but I think alot of people don't know/forgot that part of FL is in the central time zone. I know I did.
