Amazing. Gore appears to be preparing to attempt to try and change the law because he thinks he might lose the election.

Amazing. Utterly amazing.

Here's the argument as I understand it:

"The people's choice" should be the president, not the way the law is set up right now.

The 19,000 people that screwed up their ballots in Florida all voted for Al Gore. I'm not kidding! The Gore camp is asserting that all those people voted for Gore! [edit: they just changed their assertion to "a percentage" of the 19,000] [edit: now they have changed the number to 20,000]

This faulty ballot they are yapping about was approved by a Democrat before the election. The Electoral College elects the president.

These Gore people are claiming that "the will of the people" is "surely not reflected" because 19,000 people couldn't understand how to vote.

Nothing about what the law of the land is. Screw the law, we need "the will of the people that can't understand how to vote." I am astounded.

Good job, Al. Thanks a bunch. Try and change federal law before you even get into office, assuming you do.
