Tulvio, you have it backwards. This has nothing to do with investment earnings, it has to do with merger write offs.

If you go buy a car right after you spend $300,000 on a house, do you ignore that expenditure because it is a one time event?

No, of course not.

Of course, with Cisco, they're buying lots of houses every quarter, yet they still classify it as a one time extraordinary event.
