To answer your question, the ballot is legal because it is 'not illegal'. By the way, Florida election law says you choose a candidate by marking an 'X' to the right of the candidate or party's name. I suppose a case could be made there. <Why you wanna ignore 19,000 pro-Gore votes and pretend like they didn't exist? Only so Bush can win? I submit in any other kind of situation where fairness is being sought, you'd side on the side of fairness. > Why would 19,000 pro-Gore voters choose a combination of Gore AND any of the other presidential candidates and then turn their ballot in, thereby disqualifying themselves from the process. PartyTime, tell me the truth. If you had double marked your ballot - by accident, would you not have talked to the local polling official and gotten another ballot? Come on, PartyTime. What's up with that? Are the Republicans at fault in this instance? This is silly.
