Seriously, I do agree that any protracted wrangling is bad for the national spirit. OTOH, precisely this is a serious matter, one should not take this lightly. I mean, a lot of people in other part of the world die trying to get what we have here in term of voting privileges. It should mean a lot. Regardless of who is the victor, fairness in voting should be protected at all cost. I would go to bat for Gov Bush's camp if there is serious doubt about the process from his pov. I mean, I am not a fan of Buchanan by any scretch of imagination, even he said he didn't want any vote not meant for him [ok, granted that he may have ulterior motive to say that!]
If patriotism means only within an affiliated party, one probably should wear that too loudly
