This is taking up too much of my time! On CNN now Democratic congeressman in Fla says:
He says it's illegal that punch #s were on left side, and 2nd hole should have been Gore which was not. That "illegal" ballot created anomaly results, 19000 double votes, 4 statrewide elections in Palm Beach County on Tuesday, in other electionsfor US Senate and others, double votes were a fraction of 1%, .13%, #s for Pat Buchanan were absolutely off the charts, people's intentions for voting for Al Gore thwarted by an illegal ballot, Florida law requires if presented with this type of case determinet he intention fo voters and exercise, Al Gore won this election...if Bush elected an illegitmate president."
I find this disgusting. Is that the democratic stance? Essentially he's saying Gore won (even before a recount) and that an illegal ballot thwarted Gore. Essentially he's saying the Republicans purposely did this to thwart Gore.
"If this ballot was used previously--why keep using it?" Republican congresswoman: Florida statues do not have to have all holes on the right side, this ballot has been used..." Democratic guy is interrupting her, yelling, 2nd hole should be Gore.
