I have never posted on SI before, but I want to thank you for expressing these sentiments. It's a matter of respect for our democracy. No one can claim victory at this point, until the alleged disenfranchisement of 20,000 voters in West Palm Beach County is addressed within the democratic process. Any of us, whether Republican or Democrat, if we felt our vote had been thrown away unfairly or registered unfairly in such a circumstance, would want justice. In addition, the world is watching to see that our process is carried out fairly, even if it causes discomfort. Also,in the end, would it really serve Governor Bush to claim a victory fraught with such lingering doubt?
