I believe that Bush will concede the election. He lost the popular vote, which should IMHO mean that he lost the Presidency, and it now looks as if he will lost the EC even it has to be snatched from the greedy little hands of the leeches surrounding him. The disqualified votes in Palm Beach would have clearly put Gore in the Presidency. We're not talking about 100 or 200 stupid people who can't read. This is nearly 20,000 votes that almost certainly would have gone to Al Gore.

Then there's the similar issue of the 3200 or so poor saps who voted for Pat Buchanan. Pat himself has come forth and admitted the did no campaigning in Palm Beachy, Fl and that those votes do in fact, in certainty, belong to the Vice President.

Next, there are the allegations of civil rights violations which the Justice Department has begun investigating. Although I believe it is high time the GOP had the attack dog sicked on it, this is starting to wreak havoc on our country's ability to function.

GW Bush should step aside from the Presidency becuase of these reasons.

Besises the fact that it is ethically the right thing to do, GW Bush must have the common sense to know that he can no longer lead. The allegations in Florida move him from the no mandate column to the no right to govern column. The Americans who cast votes against GW Bush are clearly not interested in his programs and will be the first to complain when he begins enacting administrative rules that favor his programs. When he tries to appoint three more Clarence Thomas's to the S.Ct. he will find strong reisitence. IF he wants to try to privatize SS or enact a massive tax cut, he will find his authoruty challenged.

In all, Bush would have an extremely bad 4 years as President. During this four year period one can imagine marathon filibusters carried out by Democratic Senators to prevent any of the conservive agenda on abortion or civil rights from being enacted.

Oh, and Bush would undoubtedly lose in 4 years. The GOP puppeteers, strategically, should realize that it makes no sense to push for Bush to take office in the face of such strong opposition.
