As H. L. Mencken would say to those who wrote him angry letters, "You may be right."

I am (probably wrongly) more afraid of being out of what could be a red-hot market for energy, especially natural gas, though the market action today shows that the best of those get dragged down when the serious selling starts and everyone wants to close out margined positions or put some money in the bank. So I hedge against this with a sizeable short of XLK and very large positions in BEARX, Tice's bear fund. So if my oil and gas stocks get creamed, I'll have money to buy more at their really cheap prices.
