Very true, many colonists and later Americans died
trying to obtain and maintain these privileges.

It is then interesting why only 51% of the eligible
voters voted in this election.

Furthermore, it is interesting that the voters of
Missouri would use their valuable voting privilege
in electing a deceased candidate for senator. (despite the fact that this was very likely a noble gesture to honor the man, their former governor).

Just a thought...some people treasure something more when
they don't have it.
