Americans DID NOT lose their right to vote. Look at the ballot, combine that with the fact that all voters got a sample ballot. Losing your right to vote is a COMPLETELY different thing.

We can't continue to dumb down everything so nobody could ever make a mistake. Approximately 100,000,000 people voted in America on Tuesday. If you hunted through every polling place in America you would find lots of errors and ommissions I would guess. Some would favor Bush, some for Gore. Oh well, the system's not perfect. Apparantly this has happened twice in a row in Palm county, and now that it MAY have hurt Gore we have people talking about crazy ideas to let them vote again.

Food for thought: Has anyone ever considered that some of the Buchannon votes were from conservatives that don't like Bush? They have spoken, and should make some changes for next time if they don't want to make it 3 in a row. I have also heard his siter live in Palm county. That could have something to do with the "unusual" count. Lastly, if there is any truth that Buchanan got 8,000 votes in a '96 primary, then this anomoly would not look so strange.
