Am not sure of absentees. I think they've been counted, but the overseas absentee ballots haven't. If you sent in your ballot from Paris, France, and the postmark was Nov. 6 (or maybe even Nov. 7) ... that's a good ballot. Has to be counted, regardless of when it arrives in Tallahassee. Which is why we may have to wait 10 more days for a real winner. It's also my understanding that only about half of the overseas absentees are military. Other half are rich Palm Beach residents (and Gore supporters) spending November on the French Riviera. Actually, Lug, I think if the Dems are smart, they'll let GWB be president. We're due for a major economic slowdown/stock market crash/major oil crisis any day now. Better to have that happen under a GOP administration than Demo administration. Then the Dems would be assured that either Kerry of Massachusetts or Liberman or Hillary would be our next president for eight years, from '04 to '12.
