<ot>Hi MeDroogies - I ve no problem with "with decorum and honor." In fact, I am 100% for it. However, this notion of "with decorum and honor" must go both ways.

I see no problem Sec Daley seeking redress if it is due. I really don't know Palm Beach County to support or rebute your point about Reform Party membership, but for curosity's sake, what is the base of 110%

Ultimately, I am not on anyone's side, if it is fair and if it reflects the will of the people in question, I am on that side. OTOH, if we muddle this thru, the next President will be ineffective --- both in terms of domestic policies and international politics. If it is done right, he can go anywhere, Europe, Middle East or even China with head held high!

Maybe the butterfly ballot is just a strawman, or may be not. There is indeed precedent. However, I am no legal eagle to say yes or no. I will leave it to the pros. If the court is involved, then it must!

So, my point? People should stop character assasinations. IMHO, calling Sec Daley disingenuous will not help the matter except to satisfy personal vindictiveness. If we expect the leaders to show "decorum and honor," maybe we should start with ourselves first. To be sure, I am not accusing you, but I did run into a few hot heads on SI, one of them a cyberfriend of many years, who suddenly unleash a torrent of partisan rhetoric that will not be helpful

best, Bosco
