Decorum and honor both ways is correct. However, I'd ask, as of now, which side is the one that is being very loud about impropriety and (in some cases) fraud? I haven't heard many Republicans. There are a few who, jokingly (like myself), have implied that the Dems are trying to overthrow the will of the people or stage a coup.
Few of us really believe it, and equally few would probably ask for another recount.
On the other hand, if Gore loses this recount, I GUARANTEE that they will scream and kick to take it to court. Bush may, but only because it seems absentee ballots have sent 3 other states into recount. Still, I doubt he would ask for another recount if he loses in FL. |
