It was so close , that we ought to do a run off type
election between the two main contenders.
----------
A popular vote is not really democratic, I've seen that
crap in Texas until I'm sick of it. Big money funds
and supports the "shills" that they know will split and
steal votes from who they are opposed to.
A clear run off any time a winner falls below 50% would
get rid of that underhanded practice.

It would also clear up things in the minds of many people
when a candidate finally won by Majority ..not the so called popular vote ; I've seen bums win who only had
35% of the vote in this state, with more and more parties
being the new fad..only a run off can create some sort
of mandate. The whole system stinks to high heaven.
----------

Well I jumped in the UOPIX today..and had to place the
order by 2pm EST..and wouldn't you know we had a late
day rally.
I also went in ROGSX yesterday, hmm I'll be fully
invested with one more buy..but what I think I'll do
from here if we have any more strong down days
is buy some long term in the money calls on the QQQ.
I may just put in a GTC for some 2002 leaps @50
at about the low they ask for them today.
31-1/2
I sure would have liked UOPIX at the low today. :-)

Jim

PS this election crap will go away in time, and it
will then amount to a non event as far as the longer
term market goes.
