There are a few good people who accept managed accounts, which is like a micro mutual fund. The minimum account size for most of the good ones is 100+k. Rather than studying the stocks, you may want to study these people and find a few with acceptable methods to you. That is not to say these people will always do well, but that they do at least as well as you and free you to enjoy other things. The one that I think will do well going forward is Laura something (I'll look up the name for you if you want). She is the blind lady who uses (used?) SSB as the front for her operations. But she's really not part of SSB. ST
