Couldnt have said it better. If I recall my history correctly, the electorial vote system was created in order to facilitate the election process in light of the fastest method of communication at the time was by horse. If I am correct about that, someone should tell our government that the communication process has improved a little since then. gggggggggggg

I wonder if anyone knows how much it costs to hold the actual election/counting process. I remember years ago when I was in high school I worked for a moving company and we had to deliver those darn election machines. The costs must be still huge and probably still very wasteful.

We do have the internet now. gggggg
