I think they are discussing whether their robes should have higher hemlines, or if sequins would make them look more stylish...

They won't get involved.
I believe, by law, they can't get involved. They are unelected. They MAY be called in to decide if the country votes again, however. Certainly, Palm Beach or Florida alone can't vote.
