The same thought crossed my mind and I do not know the answer. That's a lot of punching though and most counties have numerous polling places.

Here is an interesting tid bit, In the last two FL elections, a total of 32,000 ballots were thrown out for being double punched. This apparently in not a new problem. I suspect were in not for the close vote we would never have heard about the 19,120 ballots from this election. Makes one wonder how many are thrown out nationwide where paper ballot are used. As far back as I can remember, and I have not missed voting in 41 years, we have always had voting machines. Sure would solve some problems.
