which reminds me, one pair of eyes that DOES see is that of that Simmons dude (i forget his first name), the editor of the American Oil & Gas Journal. he was interviewed on election night, and predicted it would take a DECADE to resolve all the bottlenecks dogging energy right now.

interestingly, if we now go into recession, oil prices may well fall again, thus discouraging the structural investment that is needed for a longer term solution. yet another vicious cycle.
