I just noticed something. When the Secy of State of FL gave her preliminary results, here is what she announced
after 53 counties had been recounted:

Bush 2,909,661
Gore 2,907,877

That's a difference of 1784 and doesn't track with Associated Press data for 65 counties which shows a 225 vote lead for Bush.

Here is what the unofficial results were after Tuesday's vote(prior to the recount) as shown on MSNBC's web site:

Bush 2,909,135
Gore 2,907,351

What's up with that???? That is also a difference of exactly 1784 votes...what are the odds of that?

Who is running the asylum in that state??
