I don't think Dan Niles realizes the increasing complexity of what PMCS does. One has to listen to the H and Q forum of last week (might still be on their website). Gotta listen to VTSS and PMCS representatives. They paint a picture of increasing sales to their customers even if the customer itself is not even growing. The complexity is what is creating demand. VTSS indicated that sales to Lucent would increase a certain percentage even if Lucent is not grow its own business. I am still trying to figure that out.

PMCS indicated that due to the complexity, the big customers will not be able to do what PMCS types can do and definately not nearly as the price. I think he mentioned that costs could be 1/10 at PMCS of what one of their customers would end up paying if they did it themselves.
Lots of comments about engineers at PMCS etc... that can't be easily duplicated. Sorry that i don't remember the exact words but that is basically the idea.

This is one incredible company and we are seeing incredible buying opportunities.
I don't think Dan Niles is probably used to major transformations of industries. He is probably more of an expert in PC related products that experienced nothing like the changes in communications!
A slowdown would probably lead to even great business for PMCS etc.. as the big customers start outsourcing more.

I think Dan will be proved wrong in this sector even if he keeps his credibility in the PC space.
