HOMS will be $50.00 by 3/3/2001 (HOMS was $39.25 on 11/3/2000) Home
Homestore.com - HOMS $39.88 +3.75 (+1.94 this week) HOMS's Websites, consisting of Homestore.com, REALTOR.com, HomeBuilder.com, SpringStreet.com, Remodel.com and Homefair.com, are destinations on the Internet for home and real estate-related information and advertising products and services. With the help of a strong earnings release on October 19th and the announced purchase of Cendant's Move.com, HOMS has managed to make an impressive rally over the last week. HOMS, which controls more than 90 percent of the homes listed for sale on the Internet, announced last Friday that it has agreed to buy rival Cendant's Move.com unit for $761 million in stock. This announcement drove shares up over nine points before running into resistance near $38. With the markets help Thursday, HOMS was able to break above $38 and make a nice rally to set a day high at $40. Look for this "Microsoft of Internet realty" to continue its upward run to its 50, and 200-day averages near $43, however, keep your stops in place to protect against profit-taking. Earnings Date 01/19 (Not Confirmed) Remember to Invest Wisely!
