average joe,
I know that you're going to take a lot of flack for saying that military folks shouldn't be allowed to vote, but when you're right, you're right.
But why stop there? Let's also banish the mentally handicapped. They don't understand what's happening anyway, and besides that, what they don't know won't hurt them!!!
Next we'll rid the polling places of people with AIDS. That stuff may be contagious, and besides, do any of us normal people really care what they think or how they'll vote?
And then it's on to people with religion. I don't want any religious people in politics. Just isn't right if you ask me.
Oh! And that brings me to minorities. Enough said about that, right? <wink>
I think that by the time we finish, just you and me, and people who are normal, and think like we do should be able to vote.
Out of a job? Tough toenails. You can't vote. Behind on your mortgage payments? Good riddance!!!
KJC
P.S.
"In Germany, they first came for the communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Catholic. Then they came for me -- and by that time there was nobody left to speak up."
