The Palm Beach ballot was approved by both political parties before the election

Doesn't make it right. It just shows that the supervising powers didn't realize the confusion it would cause.
What I can't understand is how it got approved in the first place. After a similar fiasco in a Fl Senatorial election the law was changed to specifically make it illegal for so called "butterfly ballots". FL statute now requires all candidates to have punch holes immediately to the right of their name.

If this gets thrown out, then the process of politics in America is changed bigtime

GOOD, IMO we need a change in the entire system.
