Elmatador, I happen to be deploying fixed wireless and VPN's on a daily basis. Our wireless local loops are providing connectivity to regions were dsl is not readily available or where the associated cost is higher then that of our service. Coupled with our channel partners fully managed solutions we can implement session wall or Intel based boxes running through the loops to our fiber optic backbone with little latency. On a national network that was built exclusively for data! Making it an idle situation for our clients.
Just my 2 bits, down with dsl.
