niceguy767, Someone is eating their lunch, and their dinner......
Well, Intel fell on their sword and it also passed through Dell as they were closely coupled at the time.
The market zigged and AMD zigged with it, Intel and Dell zagged?

I fel it was intel's troubles coupled with excellence on the part of AMD to take advantage of those troubles.

Dell?? beats me why they feel such loyalty? I think Dell just backs one horse and for a while he was leader of the pack. Now lower cost AMD mobos as well as lower cost AMD chips that are faster have doomed Dell to a fate of lower expectations=lower share prices.
