Druss, If you read the papers of the Founding Fathers, we were never intended to be a 'majority rule' country. We were intended to elect people that could make rational decision...regardless of the emotion of the moment. They knew that masses are easily manipulated...as we see daily in the market. The technology is available for popular vote...but do you want you destiny controlled by someone that would type Go XXXX on some stock board? Majority rule is Yahoo. Is that desireable? Not Saying I like the system....not saying anything but someone should do a little thinking. Thinking never hurts. We have examples in history of the slippery slope and what a charismatic leader can do. I want a majority....but I want them to be thinking. That seems to be rare nowadays. JMHFO. lee
