I think you're missing the point about accountability. Tekboy wrote: "that's ultimately their fault for not taking the time or care to make sure that the ballot was marked correctly." You countered with: "I think these people actually thought they had marked the ballot correctly." The point you appear to be missing is that the reason they thought that is beacause they didn't take the necessary time or care to do it correctly as did roughly the other 90% to 95% of the people who voted using the same ballot.
