Doesn't it all hinge on whether or not the ballots were "legal" or not?

Assuming the ballots are deemed "legal" by the Florida judiciary, the voters have no recourse.

If, on the other hand, the ballots are deemed to be "illegal" by the Florida judiciary then, it doesn't matter who they voted for - even if it was Mickey Mouse. Whether they fear they made a mistake or not would no longer be relevant.

As far as I can see, this is what it all boils down to.
