Jim: Why did GWB physically remove himself from his family after NBC, CNN et al announced Florida had gone for Gore? What private phone calls did Dubya receive on a secure phone line, and from whom, and what was the upshot of these calls?

If it was just Jeb calling him to say that the Repubs' numbers had the race a lot closer, then why did Dubya need to go several blocks to another office, where he was alone, with no other people? (This was reported by one of the networks shortly after Florida was announced for Gore.)

What was it that Dubya wanted no one else to hear?
