OT - With such a close contest no clear winner can emerge. However, unlike Gore, Bush already came out saying that he will bring both sides together in a government from the best people no matter what their party. Why hasn't Gore come out to say the same? Does he really think that the other 50% does not matter? No matter who wins the White House, with such a close election, they will both have to show that they are beyond politics and can bring both parties to the government. Bush has already said he will do it. Why not Gore? This is what scares me the most of Gore, the Democrats and their extreme liberal views. They think that even with 1 vote difference, if they were to win, the other side for them does not exist. IMO, Gore has to come out and say that if he wins that he will be a president for ALL the people of the US by bringing people in his cabinet that are from the other side, even if that means going against the democratic and liberal views of his party. Why has he not done so? One of the closets elections ever, deserves a president that will be willing to be president for both sides and ALL the people, even if that means going against his party's views.

JMHO.
