niceguy767, Dell has had a lot of easy gains in servers in the cheap crowd. Now there is an experience base out there on Dell servers and they are not as reliable as HP, Sun and Compaq servers.....but they are cheaper. Cheaper is not often the best choice in serverspace. In desktops and PC the AMD products have shown themselves to be equal to or better than Intel CPUs and also cheaper. That is why AMD share grows in both corporate space and home space. I expct in a year there will be SMP products from AMD that will start to eat Intels SMP products, and they will be better as well as cheaper. Bill
