RE-VOTE OR REVOLT! This election will energize and unify Democrats behind the voters popular choice - Al Gore. We have seized the moral high ground. We have a cause - amending the Constitution to eliminate the electoral college - that will unify the party and draw independents into our ranks. George W. Bush, if he is President, will be forced to govern from left of center because that is where votes are. Look at the returns. Bush camaigned to the center. Gore campaigned to the left of center. Nader campaigned far to the left of center. The voters chose Gore. If they try a wholesale repeal of the estate tax, they will pay a political price. If they try to squander the surplus on a tax cut for the rich, they will pay a political price. They will get all of the blame and none of the credit because they do not have a popularly elected President. They will have to deal with a resentful electorate.
