Qualmark Corporation Announces Major Agreement To
Provide OVS(TM) Physical Stress Systems to 3Com

DENVER, May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- QualMark Corporation (Nasdaq:SMALL - news), a leading
provider of accelerated life testing services and equipment primarily for electronics manufacturers,
today announced that it has signed a Master Corporate Purchasing Agreement with 3Com
Corporation (Nasdaq:COMS) that could result in a significant amount of equipment sales for
QualMark.
Terms of the agreement call for QualMark to provide a number of additional OVS(TM) Physical
Stress Systems to 3Com, its subsidiaries and/or vendors between June of 1997 and January of
1999. 3Com, which has been using QualMark's OVS systems for two years, is expanding its own
usage and is encouraging its vendors and subsidiaries to take advantage of the industry's most
effective product testing technology. QualMark's patented OVS systems enable users to improve
product quality by evaluating designs and manufacturing processes prior to product release and
throughout the manufacturing process.
