jhild: Re: "I think the idea of conspiracies here is a little remote": Same was said about a third-rate political office break-in in '72.

George Sr. was on TV last night being interviewed in the rain by Sam Donaldson among others. Senior went out of his way to say that D-Dubya-I "has been a man" during all this. However, when Florida was announced for Gore by the networks around 9 p.m., one of the networks reported that Dubya left the family and went to another office, where he was alone.

So the question is this: Why did Dubya do this? To stew alone in silence, because he is "not a man," or because he wanted a secure phone line to receive "the call about Florida."

Think about that.

I don't trust any of the Bushes further than I can spit.

Lest we forget, George Sr. learned a few things while he headed up the CIA.
