John, I was not using it then, unfortunately. Whatever price you pay for not catching the the true CANSLIM leaders, you recoup by catching stocks that go up during dreadful market volatility and downturns. The system provides consistent returns with low risk. I do think the largest variable is making final selection of stocks. I am not convinced that the simple fact that the Merit Ranking is high is a good indicator, except when the market stinks. Charts, and a quick scan of Group and Group Strength, Acc/Dis. rank, and growth percentages seem well within the system and a good way to catch more promising stocks whether the market is good or bad, however. It's a great system!! Mastering the variable component is my focus.
