DESPITE this, it appears FLORIDA (what a surprise) was called too early. This is a clear case of the media overstepping their bounds. As a result, it seems many pro-Bush counties in the panhandle may have had voters not show up at the polls because the election had already been called.

Now that bolded statement doesn't make any sense at all...if anything, ABC, NBC, CNN, etc. declaring Gore the winner would cause Gore supporters to say I guess my vote isn't needed and lazy Bush supporters to say maybe I can turn it around if I get up off my a$$ and go out and vote while I still can.
