The count in most of the states is not really complete because of the absentee ballots. The absentee ballots favor the Republicans by a 55 to 45 % usually (!?). So people will just have to wait for all the results to be certified. It is also not clear what the specific causes of the invalidity of 19 K ballots were. I have not heard anyone claim (besides you) that all 19K should have gone to Gore. The facts have been spotty at best.
