I used to believe the Electoral College should be done away with, until I looked at the facts. A President could conceivably win carrying only CA, NY, TX, and FL. Do we want our politicians leaving out the majority of the country and pandering to Hollywood types or simply addressing the needs where the population is most dense? They would NEVER need to step foot in places like Iowa, or Kansas, and would basically leave out the people who feed not only us but the world. I do not like this scenario and believe this is another example of how the founding fathers set up a system for the ages. Let's not tamper with it. BK
