This whole mess just reminds me of a famous biblical tale:

Democrats Demand New Recounts in Florida
Gore's Vote Shortfall in State Declines Steadily
By Brian Knowlton International Herald Tribune
WASHINGTON - Governor George W. Bush moved ahead with preparations for a new cabinet on Thursday, but aides to Vice President Al Gore angrily denounced those moves as premature and ''presumptuous'' and demanded a hand recount of contested ballots in four Florida counties.
In a dramatic day during which successive updates from a statewide recount of Florida's 67 counties showed Mr. Gore's shortfall steadily declining - from 800 or so to 600, to 400, and then to 359, with 4 counties yet to be counted - the restraint shown just after the election by each camp gave way to rising rancor and vitriol.
Regardless of the recount - and legal challenges notwithstanding - no final verdict appeared likely at least Nov. 17. Florida accepts absentee ballots from abroad as late as 10 days after Election Day. More than 2,000 such ballots are still expected.
A Bush spokeswoman, Karen Hughes, called the Democrats' criticism ''shrill.'' His strategist, Karl Rove, raised the possibility of recounts in the states of Iowa, New Mexico and Wisconsin, and Don Evans, chairman of the Bush campaign, issued a veiled warning: ''The Democrats who are politicizing and distorting these events risk doing so at the expense of our democracy.'' Now for the holy tale.....
The Judgement Of Solomon
MOTHERHOOD
One day king Solomon was reigning over Israel when two harlots came to him to be judged. Each of them begot a baby, but one died of being pressed by his mother while sleeping. So each of the two women insisted that the living one was hers and Solomon had to judge who the true mother was. It is clear that one of them is the true mother, and the other is false. It would seem impossible to discriminate who the true mother was. One of them was lying and the other spoke the truth. The king therefore commanded to cut the living baby into two parts and to give them each a half of the baby so that by his decision he might bring forth and reveal the genuine mother because then would the true mother's mind and heart be revealed.
Until then, both of them insisted that the living one was hers, but now the situation changed. Before the commandment to cut the baby into two parts, the two women spoke differently. One said, "Let him be neither mine nor yours, but divide him." The other yearned with compassion for the living child and said, "Oh my lord, give her the living child, and by no means kill him!" She expressed true motherhood. Solomon judged, "Give her the living one. Do not kill him. She is his mother."
Since king Solomon could bring out the people's hearts and judge them by the wisdom of God, therefore the people feared him.
Like the false mother who insisted that she was genuine, there are many people who say that they have love, although they don't actually. They say that they have faith, and they do and say that they are good, even though they are not. [...] ________________
Americans' living baby is their fabric of democracy.... Don't let the Bilderbergers and their Democrat straw-men destroy it! Former Secretary of State James Baker and other personalities are already reasoning the Democrat "false mother" into a sensible decision, however, the out-and-outers, spurred on by the transatlantic and pro-Israeli lobbies, are recklessly wrecking a 200-year-old democracy --for the sake of foreign interests....
