John, I think the resolution of the election is more important to Intel's stock price than a downgrade.

Will one of the two possible new presidents repeal technology? I know, I know.

Edit, actually, if the thing is going to be undecided for another week, it will fade some and our individual stocks will rise or fall based on their own "weight." I noticed that LSI's CEO Wilf Corrigan came out yesterday saying their outlook for Q4 remains the same (good), kind of to say all the continuing negative crap in tech news is not happening with them. How about Intel? Just because of Dell and their too heavy weighting on the PC (albeit trying to change that but not as successfully as Compaq?.
