Joe,

The constitution specifies a day when the presidential elections should be held. Something about the Tuesday after the first Monday of the month of November. Why do you think the framers went to this level of specificity?

The constitution is a document that should be subject to modern interpretation. Right? Only a Republican would allow himself to adhere to a strict constructionist view. After all why should we be bound by an old piece of paper written by some evil, rich, white, landowners in the 18th century.

Geez, get with the program Joe. The new constitution is now a Burger King document. Step up to the Supreme Court and "have it your way". I would like an Abortion Rights Whopper liberally smeared with Hollywood Smut and Violence Sauce, but hold the property rights pickles and the handgun buns because they upset my delicate sensibilities.

Dave

Edit: Oooops I see Scumbria and Stribe have already weighed in with similar arguments.
