OT- and my last .02 on the subject Brian, I don't know where to start first. Hollywood types? So their vote is not worth as much as a good ole conservative minded mid-westerner? sheesh.. I find it amazing that people keep trying to find justifications for the electoral college like the founding fathers could do no wrong. The electoral college is responsible for the mess were in - Gore won the popular vote by a good enough margin that it would not be contested. BTW - If indeed the good voters (those non-hollywood non-weirdo folk) are the majority of the country then they can win by popular vote - at least the way I was taught math. Claude
