Buchanan thinks Gore won Scumbria- He also thinks the holocaust never happened. I voted for Gore, and am a lifelong Democrat. However, it is time for Gore to stand up and say: "I will not be going to court, and I ask all of you who have chosen to challenge the Florida vote to drop those challenges. We should await the results of the absentee ballots, and if George Bush is ahead after that, he is our next President with my full support." Americans dislike a whiner more than about anything else in politics. George Bush is going to have a very difficult time as President the next four years. An evenly divided Congress, and no mandate. Gore is perfectly positioned to benefit from this if he acts like a statesman now. But if he chooses the litigation route, his political future isn't worth a nickel. Frank
